Howdy!
My name is Elijah Powell. Most of you however have come to know me as Grubmeyer. Either will do, as I am both. The father and the son… ummm… scratch that last part, that was getting a little weird.
Welcome to blog.grubmeyer. This is my window. Rather this is your window into me, into who I am, into what I think, into why I do. This is the place for me to rant. Or to rave. Or to story. You might find a product review one day, then a story about food the next. It might be just a random thought. Or it might be a well-written, thought out piece of genius (although likely not). You never know what you might find here. But you’ll always find something.
If you clicked on the “About” tag above, you might have come to this page to find out a little more about me. And don’t worry I won’t disappoint. However I will keep it rather short, as my story is pretty boring. I live in Alaska. I don’t live in an Igloo(but I’ve built one). The only place I’ve ever seen a polar bear is at the zoo. I’m married. She’s beautiful. She’s smart. She’s funny. I love her. I’ve got two children (so far). They are beautiful. Check out the photos if you don’t believe me. I’m a blogger. I try to keep busy to refrain from being bored, but I bore easily of the things that keep me busy. I’m a magician. I’m a geocacher. I’m a Mac. But most importantly, and above all other things. I am Me.

But here I am allowed the freedom to express what I am and who I am and who I may eventually become.
